Also the decocking lever has some stubborn fouling in its grooves. Notably, there is some finish loss on the barrel from the action and some scattered light handling marks on the slide. There are some light handling marks, nicks and scuffs. Overall Condition: The pistol retains 90% of its metal finish. There is no erosion, but there is some stubborn fouling in the bore. Overall, the grips are in Fine condition.īore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with sharp rifling. The grips have some light handling marks but lack any notable defects. The grip panels feature checkered side panels and a checkered back-strap. Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The grip panels are two-piece checkered black synthetic. The rear sight is a square-notch with a white mark at the center dovetailed to the slide.
Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a blade with a white dot dovetailed to the slide.
The bottom of the slide, just in front of the dust cover, is marked with a Kiel proof mark, German nitro proof and the date code “JH”. The right side of the frame is serial matched and features a German nitro proof mark. The right side of the slide is marked with the serial number “U156023” and “P226 / MADE IN W.
